Unisert Assembly

When used with our non-fragmenting MICRO X or Composite Flat Seat (FS) rupture discs, the UNISERT Assembly creates an effective seal every time.

How? They were made for each other. The UNISERT is a flat seat rupture disc holder designed with superior sealing capabilities and easy installation. For use with any burst or pressure rating of the MICRO X or Composite Flat Seat rupture disc.

One holder, dozens of rupture disc design options

The UNISERT Assembly is available in nominal sizes ranging from 1″ through 36″ for installation between ASME, DIN or JIS class companion flanges. Standard materials for the UNISERT holder include 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, Alloy 400 and Alloy C276.

J-Hook and alignment pins

The UNISERT Assembly includes alignment pins for correct rupture disc insertion. The UNISERT is also equipped with a J-Hook for proper indexing and flow orientation between the companion flanges. Both the J-Hook and alignment pins are provided on all 1″ through 12″ UNISERT holders.

Tagging

We permanently attach a stainless steel flow-direction indicator to each UNISERT Assembly. Composite Flat Seat and MICRO X rupture discs are also supplied with a three-dimensional flow-direction tag.

Directional arrows on both the tag and nameplate provide a means to visually verify the rupture disc assembly is properly oriented in your system.

Application flexibility

The flexibility of the UNISERT Assembly permits utilization of various rupture disc types and burst pressures. Thus, the type of rupture disc can be changed rather than replacing the entire holder.
