PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - Liberty


Evaluates customer/market needs, develops new products and improves existing products to maintain a competitive advantage. Key responsibilities and duties include:
    -Design, develop and improve new and existing products using appropriate engineering practices
    -Serve as a technical resource to sales, marketing and production
    -Proves product effectiveness through extensive design and testing
    -Familiarizes employees with new products by planning and conducting new product orientation meetings
    -Design tools and equipment as needed
    -Operate and maintain the Flow Lab
    -Assists operations with technical problems as required
    -Writes and updates manufacturing and engineering procedures and installation instructions as required
    -Completes special projects/tasks and duties associated with product feasibility, design and testing

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
    -B.S. Degree in Engineering and/or prior work experience in related field
    -Thorough understanding and broad application of technical standards, principles, theories, and techniques
    -Strong written and verbal communication shills
    -Understanding of various measurement devices
    -Operational knowledge of manufacturing machinery
